Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins Of The Moon

Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins Of The Moon is no doubt has a long name. This game from Xseed is an action RPG game made specifically for Nintendo Wii. The game has a detailed and rich environment for players to explore. The game also have an effective sound effect and an immense game story that will pull players way into the game's atmosphere. This game however suffers for shallow fighting mechanics and the inventory management is quite cumbersome. The story-line also goes a little bit flat on the second half of the game. Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon is a good game to play, and the anime style characters is always fun to play.

Excite Bots: Trick Racing

Excite Bots: Trick Racing is a successor for the Excite Trucks. The game uses almost the same mechanics as its predecessor and they up the ante. This game contains loads of weird looking robots to race and they are all miniature. The game is fast paced and the controls have been finely tuned towards it. Players can choose a lot of control schemes to play this game, but the best experience is by using the Wii Wheel. Players will race in small race tracks and they can even go round spinning to boost up their bots. Online game allows players to fight 5 other online players and that is very welcomed for Wii games. Even though the game is great overall, players are not spoiled with choices of race tracks. Excite Bots: Trick Racing is a great game to have.

Madden NFL 11

Madden NFL 11 is the latest EA Sports American football game. The game has a lot of modes to play with and has a different kind of approach when compared to the same game on other consoles. This game gone from the seriousness of American football and put some goofiness in the 'Hand of God' mode. This game is between the arcade-ish and simulation-ish type of game, and might left the players unsatisfied because the game is not any of the two. Madden NFL 11 is a way backward from previous instalment of the game in the franchise. It seems like EA have to think more about the direction of this game on Wii in the future.

Deadly Creatures

Just as people started to think that all the Wii games are family oriented, cute and fluffy, THQ come out with a shocking game named Deadly Creatures. Deadly Creatures is far from cute and fluffy, the games is about those deadly creatures fighting with each other. The fighting mechanism is quite good, and all the deadly creatures looks very realistic. The boss fight are challenging and satisfying at the same time However, as the deadly creatures aren't so many in the game, the game story also falls a little bit short. If only the game has more boss fights, this game might have made it to the 'recommended' list. Deadly Creatures is a good game to buy.

There are also several Dreamworks' characters that crashes in the game (Don't want to spoil it). This game has a solid design with well usage of the license. However the character specific weapons are a little bit unbalanced and would left the players frustrated. Madagascar Kartz do have a bit problem there, however, as it is targeting youngsters, we don't think that they will care. As long as their favourite characters are in the game, they are going to play it.

The History Channel: Battle For The Pacific

The History Channel: Battle For The Pacific is another historical first person shooter game for Nintendo Wii. Activision; the one that developed this game is the same developer for the highly acclaimed Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, it is hard to understand that this game didn't excel in the genre at all. The graphics in this game is very blurry and disgusting, making it difficult for players to see the enemy in the screen. The motion control too is very annoying and players might lose interest in the game easily. There are also some occasions where players will find that the A.I. will have many upper hands where they can spot the player easily even though the environment shouldn't allow anybody to do so. The A.I. were sharp shooters and will hit the players every time. The History Channel: Battle For The Pacific is just a game that should be left untouched, it is just dreadful.

Mario Sports Mix

When Nintendo announces the Mario Sports Mix for Wii, we were very excited. We thought the game is going to be huge. We start thinking of how can the Wii Remote will be used in games such as basketball, volleyball and ice hockey. Will it use the Motion Plus just like Wii Sports Resort. Not long after the announcement, they release the game and apparently, the game did not incorporate any motion sensing. Even though this game is full with Mario and his friends charm, the game is just shallow. The opponent AI is so easy to beat and the gameplay is very easy. There aren't any interesting thing in any of the games. Mario Sports Mix is just easy to forget. Nintendo should have done a better job in such a game after a lot of highly acclaimed motion plus games. Final words, don't waste money on this game.

Players can easily design their own plays at the line to execute new tactics in the game, and can simply call the play and controls. There is also online multiplayer mode that is good and the gameplay overall is pretty solid. As stated earlier, this game has many reused content from its predecessor and several of the modes seems easy to forget.
